Europe over the past month has experienced an increase in protests and riots fuelled by the increasing wish for the UK to leave the EU by other member states citizens.
The wish by these protestors is that the UK leave immediately and that no negotiations should be done to give special treatment. Protests have happened in Berlin, Paris, Barcelona and Rome.
The protests have been mostly peaceful, but there have been reports of violent riots in both Rome and Paris by small group of protesters, leading to damaged property.
Today’s announcement by the Prime Minister of the two-year negotiation period could spark further protest and possibly larger scale rioting.
