Concern abounds as an Inverness Guide group has gone missing following a camping outing in Cairngorm National Park.
The children and leaders of Fort William Girl Guides went camping at camp site four in Cairngorm National Park on the evening of the 6th of August and have not returned. Concerned parents have searched the area and could not find any trace of the troupe so have since reported this matter to Police Scotland and this is being treated as a missing person case.
This is the latest in a spate of disappearances that have struck the campsites in Cairngorm National Park since March. However, it has been uncovered that James Kirk, the site manager for the park, has been paying members of the media to keep the disappearances quiet.
Our editorial staff make the following statement:
“We will not be silenced by money, coercion or any other form of persuasion. We will always bring the unequivocal truth to our readers, as is their right. Those journalists of other media sources that have accepted Mr Kirk’s payments should hang their heads in shame and should be aware that they have thrown their integrity away for money”.
More to follow.
