Horror continues to grip the residents of Edinburgh as a body of a young man was uncovered on Musselborough beach.
The body of a young male that had been decapitated was uncovered in the early hours of the 27th of July by a jogger. The jogger immediately reported the matter to Police Scotland officers who secured the area and have retrieved the body.
Our sources advise that the body has suffered the effects of being submerged in the water for an extended period of time which is delaying attempts to identify the victim. What we can advise is that there is evidence of extreme trauma suggesting that the victim was badly beaten before death and that the victim had a yellow smiley face tattoo that is synonymous with drug culture.
The police are recommending that citizens follow precautions when traveling and try to travel in groups.
