A Fringe show labelled as Living Art turned out to be a front for a group of Robbers.
The Blake Gallery, situated by the Shore, Leith, was invaded by a group of unknown criminals. The staff working there were forcibly restrained and tied up by the group.
On opening the group charges visitors £25 to enter and take part in an “art Expression”. This involved allowing paying customers to vandalise the gallery and works along with throwing paint covered sponges at one of the tied up staff members.
During this event, the group made off with valuable pieces of work, by Daniel Blake and other Edinburgh artists, along with the entry fee paid for by the visitors.
Police are seeking anyone who may have taken part in this or witnessed the crimes to come forward.
