Halloween Hawaiian Madness

Police had a lot to deal with on Halloween this year including an illegal rave at Ravenscraig park.

Police were called to the Park at around 1am after reports of fires, loud music and suspected drug use were filed by locals.

Police arrived on Scene to find a Hawaiian themed rave taking place.  They attempted to move the reveller on from the park, that is currently still being cleaned up from a toxic chemical incident,  but were met with resistance from a small number who were arrested.

Police Scotland issued a statement

“Halloween is always a busy time for the police, and such incidents do not make our job easier.  We welcome organised events with proper licencing and security to take part in the festivities, but we cannot allow illegal events such as the one at Ravenscraig park to continue for the safety of both the public and those that attend”
