On the 7th June, armed police were called to Leith to deal with a bloody incident that occurred in Leith Docks. Reports of gunfire and screaming alerted the police to the warehouse area.
Upon investigation they found a site of a massacre. At least 10 bodies were recovered from the scene. The victims are believed to be involved in organised crime and the current theory is that this was an attack by one of the rival gangs. No further information has been released including the identities or gang affiliation of those who were killed. Witnesses of the aftermath have described it as bloody and harrowing.
Police Scotland has refused ot comment on this as investigations are ongoing. They have closed off the immediate area and will update if they have anything further.
If anyone has any information they should contact the police immediately.
