The upcoming Gilded Rose concert that was due to take place on the 25th August has been cancelled due to major security concerns and terrorist threats.
The highly anticipated concert was cancelled only the night before after Police Scotland terrorist experts discovered possible plans that would put concert goers at Murrayfield Stadium at risk. Further investigation gave enough evidence that the risk was significant and so there was no other choice but to cancel.
Zed, the frontman of Gilded Rose issued a Statement.
“There will always those looking to silence greatness, my fans need not worry. The show will be one remembered for all of history!”
Fans of the band were saddened and upset to hear of the cancellation, with many spending hundreds of pounds for accommodation in the city that they will not be able to have refunded.
Murrayfield Stadium has said that the concert will be rescheduled for a later date once security concerns are a dressed and a plan put into the place to ensure the safety of all patrons and staff. They will honour all tickets already purchased and will refund anyone who cannot make the rescheduled date.
