Charities have been an unexpected benefit due to the opening of Casino rose last month. Donations from the casino have been provided to local charities as part of its commitments to community.
Three charities benefited this month, St Columba’s hospice, The Equality Network and The Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home with more charities to benefit in the future.
“As part of our commitment to the community in Edinburgh, we have set up a fund to provide charities in Edinburgh”
Kacper Rose, Owner of Casino Rose, told reporters
“ There are residents who may not think a gambling establishment is good for the community, but we are here to show that not only can you have an entertaining evening at our establishment, but you can be sure that we are giving back to those in most need.
If any charities wish to apply please get in contact with our community engagement manager.
We have also decided that this year we will continue our support for St Columba’s Hospice as patrons. The hard work and dedication of this vital service provides comfort and support for those with cancer and their families here in Edinburgh. We look forward to a future working alongside this amazing place.”
The casino’s generous donations along with their continued support has been commended by charity groups and other local businesses. This shows that Edinburgh’s community spirit and charitable attitudes are rising.
