A local arts centre in Edinburgh has formally been greenlit after private investment was gained to allow the development.
Local artist and Sculptor, Markus Manfred announced that after fundraising the capital needed through private investments and sponsors, he is able to begin renovating premises in Edinburgh ready to become a public art centre.
The centre should be ready to open in September if all building works goes to plan. The centre aims to provide space for both education and exhibition. There will be gallery spaces, rehearsal spaces and a small theatre available for hire.
