Rare Manuscripts Donated to Library

The National Library of Scotland is pleased to announce that it has received a donation of three rare Medieval Manuscripts, which have been lovingly restored and translated by a private group with Dr R. R. Jones as lead.

Dr R. R. Jones at the donation ceremony addressed the attending saying that “these Documents represent unique insight into how people from this time went about their daily lives, such information is invaluable to anthropological research.”

This donation has sparked an almost gold rush sense of enthusiasm and optimism in Edinburgh’s historical research society with numerous teams and researchers vying to be able to gain access to translations, original samples or even much coveted time with the manuscripts themselves.

A representative of the National Library has said “We thank Dr Jones and the Private donators and hope this spurs further support of our research and community, however we look forward to working much more closely with Dr Jones and his team.”
