In a genuine show of spiritual charity, the local churches of Edinburgh have combined forces with the Kramer Free Clinic. Where Clergy have provided overflow and relief efforts for the strained medical practice. This has combined with efforts such as the St Mary’s Cathedral soup kitchen which has been feeding the homeless during these pandemic stricken months and the Ágæti hotel which has been offering homes and shelter for the underprivileged who are in urgent need.
“We don’t know why,” said a homeless man who refused to be identified, “just some genuinely nice people pitching in. We were wary at first, but it seems there are some good folks out there”.
The Envoy would like to echo this statement and share its happiness at this gratifying show of humanity.
