The Envoy could not be happier to report that a shipment of military weapons being kept for sale on the black market is now contained safely thanks to a coordinated effort by the military and local police in a combined sting operation with three taken into custody to face trial.
“A brave individual tipped us off,” said one source who asked to remain anonymous, “late on the Thursday night so things started to get together and a task force hit the place where the weapons were stored in the early hours of the 4th of September.”
Our sources report that this sting operation has allowed the retrieval of military grade weapons caches that have been taken in prior months with a street value of well over £12 million pounds.
The military and police have been unwilling to comment to protect the integrity of the case.
The Envoy will continue to follow this developing story.
