A misunderstanding combined with cyber leaks turned a performance by a local live action group into a police situation.
The local club, named “Gangland”, recorded the film of an assault and kidnapping. However, leaks that distributed the recording online led to missing person reports and police involvement. Luckily ended by the club proprietor, Ronan Devitt, coming forward to clarify the situation.
“We understand the situation looked very concerning,” quoted one source, “however, all this has done has caused a local club a great deal of damage and wasted the time and resources of Police Scotland. We would ask that the public think very carefully before turning social media issues into a police matter.”
