The financial world was shocked to hear that Edinburgh Safe Deposits, a reputable and upstanding pillar of the securities market, had been broken into for the first time in its long history.
“Truly weird case this one,” commented officer Talel Hamiz of the Edinburgh Police department. “The level of security that has been defeated here is impressive to say the least. Yet there is no indication of how the break in happened or what the thieves aimed to take.”
Some sources amongst church and neighbourhood security efforts have suggested that this may be part of the online “extreme challenges” craze, where individuals attempt risky and dangerous stunts simply for the challenge of doing so. However, officer Hamiz stated there was no evidence to confirm or refute this at present.
The Envoy has reached out to Edinburgh Safe Deposits for comment but have received no reply as of press time.
